I tend to be a little nervous about sites like flickr. But, after exploring the level of control on the privacy settings, I am relatively comfortable with the site. I searched the term Golden Number, and found this image.
This image existed in about 15 different areas of Flickr. I have also seen it in several different textbooks. I'm really not sure how to cite this particular picture.
Each of the areas of Flickr have differing license for use. Some say you can use it freely and others are selling the picture. In the textbooks you will find that they bought the rights to use the picture and that photo credits are also given. To give credit you can simply provide link back to the source in flickr.
How would you cite this picture source from Flickr? Was it from the Share Alike Attribution area?
